timetable blues
okay, i've always known that fixing up the timetable was never gonna be an easy task. but somehow, i still believed in the "every cloud has a silver lining" saying. so off i went to school today, with high hopes of getting that 3-day week which i had been planning for for quite some time now. thought i had a pretty good chance since the classes that i chose had quite a lot of vacancies.
took up a good spot in the lab and waited for the time. but alas, who was to know, the darn computer screwed up on me at the vital last minute! i couldn't even get to register one subject and before i knew it, all my desired timeslots were gone! i had to log into another computer to register my subjects and by then, it was too late. i ended up with a 5 day school week and 3 830 classes. HOW SUCKY!! on second thoughts, the timetable could have been worse... at least now i've got super relaxed days though i have to go to school everyday... argh
the silver lining was that at least i have 3 friends with me who have the same timetable and that i managed to get my prescribed elective. i'm like so so so demoralized... but anywho, i've written in to complain about the system together with the rest of the people in the lab who experienced the same problem. so hopefully the school would do something about the system and give me what i want.... growl....
today's been quite a gloomy day... weather's been rainy, S's granddad passed away, LP just broke up with her boyfriend... maybe it's just today... everything would be fine tomorrow, i'll just have to be optimistic... at least i know i'm going to the zoo tomorrow!! *grin*
