i'm bbaaaacccckkkkk
gosh, it didnt hit me as to how long i haven't been writing here until i was talking to a couple of friends. it was only then did i realise that HEY! there are actually people reading my blog! hahaha.. to think i used to treat this as a place where i can just rant all day long.. haha
to those who haven't given up on me, or rather, given up on reading my blog, here's to you =)
k, back to proper business.. just handed up my FYP not too long ago and yes, i'm still feeling blissful over the fact that FYP is over even though it's been 5 days since we handed up. I mean, FYP was like our baby..... aaaawwww.... heeeheeee... and i totally love my FYP mates =) SAB and PQ, if you girls are reading this, I LOVE YOU GIRLS TO BITS!!!!!!! hahaha... i mean, where to find such lovelies? Our FYP time is usually spent laughing and joking (we do get serious work done too albeit the fun k... haha). While other groups were freaking out, we were joking away as though there was no such thing as FYP. haha...
anywho, here's presenting my FYP mates.... this photo was done by our in-house tech pro, pQ =)

There is just this other thing that i wanna share with all of you out there. It's actually about teens nowadays.. No, I'm not gonna talk about the sex stuff... that's too cliche... I'm gonna talk about their dress sense.
I was in the train this afternoon, a usual train trip back home from school.
To digress a bit, I actually do enjoy taking train trips. Coz Boon Lay is like so damn far from my house, I usually spend about 50 mins on the train. It is here that I see people from all walks of life and stuff. It's interesting how the person sitting next to you might be:-
1) on his/her way to somewhere important
2) just got fired from work
3) just passed an interview
4) going for an exam etc
And it's just so cool to see different lives cross on a train!
I think a lot when I'm on the train. I think about everything under the sun... from minute things like what i wanna do when i get home, how the day had been; to major things like my life, what kinda person i wanna be etc... I take it as a time to reflect on what has happened in the day.
K, enough about myself.. think i've digressed too far.. haha.. Dress sense of teens nowadays *ahem*
Like i was saying before, I was on the train this afternoon when a bunch of girls came into the train at Jurong East station. My guess is that they are still in secondary school, judging from the braces, black hair and manner of speech. The whole group of girls were in heels, skimpy short skirts and super tight fitting tops. Pardon my ignorance about teens nowadays but I dun recall people of my age dressing like that when we were teens!
I mean, why is it that teens nowadays wanna grow up so fast? My guess is that they dress as such to show that they are matured. There was one girl among them who was in flats and the rest of the girls were like laughing at her and asking why isn't she in heels.. i was thinking, hey, i dun think there's anything wrong with not wearing heels. And at that tender age of 14 or 15, i dun think i would wanna join them and get my feet deformed that early by squeezing them into killer heels. Ha!
The world is getting more and more unfathomable. Adults wanna look younger (that's how SKII makes money) and kids wanna look older. For me, I just wanna look my age and age gracefully when the time comes. No need for botox and what nots. I think happiness is REALLY the key ingredient to staying young. I find that a happy person usually looks more radiant. There's this healthy glow to a happy person... Maybe that's why pregnant moms usually look more radiant! (okay, i know it's a hormonal change thing for pregnant women, but just let me be.......... hahaha)
Oh before i forget, here's my family potrait at my mom's birthday dinner =)

Okay, it hit me after looking at the photo that my mom and I share such an uncanny resemblance... hahaha
