The Day
The first thing i did this morning when i woke up was to rush down to GV Tampines to be the first few to catch 'The Da Vinci Code' on screen. For someone who hasn't read the book, I'd say that the movie was good! I liked it! But for other critics, like they always say, the book is better than the movie =) Nonetheless, the movie has sparked off an interest in cryptology in me! I wanna get my hands on one of those Leonardo Da Vinci cryptograms!!! heeheee....
Anyway, that wasn't the highlight of the day. The highlight of the day was to see W off at the airport. At this time of writing, he should still be at the boarding area waiting for his flight at 0210. Gosh, I miss him already =( But i know that life still goes on, so i'm gonna keep myself fully occupied! hee.. for a start, my mom is on leave tomorrow (coincidence... haha) so that means we can go for high tea and shopping!!! wwwhhhheeeeeeeeeeee!!!! heehee...
The airport was packed with so many people at 12 plus am... And I finally got to see the people whom he'll be travelling with.. Don't mean to be rude but those folks really look underaged!! The majority of the NTU students going on this exchange are females and they really looked barely 16, though they should all be well above 20 by now! W and A were telling me that I don't have to feel insecure coz the standard of the girls flying together with them is really rock bottom. hahahaha... that provided some sorta comic relief amidst the melancholic atmosphere.. Then again, I don't really need such reassurances.. W and I work on
trust and not on external factors *grin*
Anywho, I just got back from the airport not long ago and am looking forward to W's sms tmr... I'm happy for him that he's gonna experience and learn so much from this trip. Pity that I can't be there.. But nonetheless, I'll be around! Just a phonecall away! =)
