Back in SG!!
hey folks!! for all those who missed me while I was away, yes, i'm back!!!!! hahahaha.... My skin tone is at least 2 shades darker (which is good! haha..) and my face is still kinda red! But anywho, I enjoyed the trip to Mauritius though the flight there took about 9 hours plus coz of a transit in KL.
The waters were beautiful..... loved the sun, sand and the sea! For once, the beaches are not man-made like those you see in Sentosa. Before we landed in Mauritius, I could actually SEE the clear blue sea (to be more specific, the Indian Ocean) and the nice welcoming stretch of sand/beach. BEAUTIFUL... It's exactly the kind you see on postcards and stuff so I was really excited when I saw the scene first hand!
The Mauritians are really friendly people! They speak mainly French over there but they can also speak English. So everytime they see you, they'll go, "Bonjour!". You can be just lying on the beach or strolling around the area and you'll always be greeted. It's a really cool gesture, I must say coz it really makes you feel at home =)
I'm gonna post photos up soon.. so please be patient with me... trying to do some photoshop and stuff, if i can.. haha.. till then, I'll let you in a bit on how Mauritius look like:
